I have a broken boat lift and two other companies wouldn’t even entertain the idea of coming to check it out to fix it and instead try to push replacement on me. Nate Was great to work with let me explain my situation and came out the same day to help alleviate our current situation by coming up with an alternate solution other than needing to immediately replace with a new motor that would’ve cost way more!! Professional, friendly, knowledgeable.

Our 2002 boat hoist front cable unspooled from the reel. I called Waters Edge because they were highly recommended by our neighbors. Nate from Waters Edge game over the next day for a quote. He checked the hoist and all the cables and then checked the reel to trouble shoot the problem. He rewound the cable unto the reel and then used r wheel motor to take the hoist up. When the hoist was up half way he went around and checked the cables again plus ensured everything looked good. He cranked the toon all the way up and checked everything again followed by taking it up and down numerous times. He said everything looked fine. He had fixed it. He checked the cable for wear and the wheel brake etc. and said they were fine. I can’t say enough about Nate. He is a true expert at what he does. Great guy to talk to, professional, lots of years experience and explains everything in detail about the hoist and what he is doing. Waters Edge is very lucky to have a man like Nate. He was totally honest about everything he said and could have said I need all new cables and I would have had them replaced but he didn’t. He was honest. I highly recommend Waters Edge and will always use them in the future.

A big THANK YOU to Nate for all of his hard work! My dock needed repairs, but I was working on a budget. The previous owners built the dock themselves out of random materials and it messed up after a bad storm. He came right out and he gave me several options to fix it with proper materials (including a custom hinge). This is my first time owning a dock- and he explained exactly what he was doing, why and how I can easily prepare it for winter. Nate is very knowledgeable, timley, efficient and respected my budget. Nate will be my first call for any repairs or new docks in the future!
