As the dockman, breaking the ice becomes an artful dance on the water. Maneuvering my excavator into daring positions on the barge may raise eyebrows among even the most seasoned observers, but the necessity of aligning the barge and excavator takes precedence over any reservations. The initial step involves shattering the stubborn ice obstructing the barge’s route. Subsequently, employing the excavator’s arm, I skillfully nudge the barge ahead, leveraging force from the lake bed. This, my friends, is the dockman’s method for breaking the ice and securing the perfect barge position.
